I have always dreamed of going to Florence so I was very excited for this visit. Walking around the city centre I quickly found Duomo and took way too many photos. It was even bigger than I imagined, not one of those buildings that are underwhelming in real life, I didn’t even realize what it was seeing at the end of the street, it was like a massive wall. Absolutely huge! So was the gallery in town, you have to get a ticket beforehand, it is extensive. Make sure to have enough time to go through all the floors and all the rooms. Make a day of it! In the evening, we found the coolest restaurant I have ever been to, la Ménagére. There was even a grand piano and a flower shop inside!
